TONY SHARPE
Tony Sharpe is a versatile performer whose love for music began at age five. By age ten, Tony was singing with the Eden Community Baptist Church Choir as part of the Ednenttes. Later he went on to perform around the Washington, DC Metropolitan Area (DC) with Black Love, Class Band and Show, Ayr Rayd, E.U. Natural Soul Band, 911 Band, Little Bennie and the Masters, and toured the East and West Coasts with Cover Page.
Upon returning to DC, he performed at the Capital Centre (now U.S. Air Arena) as part of larger acts which included Stacy Lattisaw, LL Cool J, Big Daddy Kane, Glen Jones, and Boogie Down Productions as well as DC’s Father of Go-Go, Chuck Brown and the Soul Searchers.
